A proud resident of Fort Edward, New York, Richard L. Montgomery is a successful author whose life story is just as interesting as the books he writes. Richard, a former Naval Aviator, received a full track scholarship to the University of Miami, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After achieving academic success, he enrolled in Pensacola, Florida’s Aviation Officer Candidate School, and got his Naval Flight Wings.
Richard earned a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and finished his coursework at the Naval War College throughout his illustrious naval career. He co-founded a defense contracting company following a distinguished career in operational test and evaluation. Richard’s extensive life experiences, especially those influenced by his military and personal journey, are a major source of inspiration for his love of storytelling.
